Assessment Report on the Integration of Peace Education into Teaching and Learning in African Countries
This study set out to assess the integration of peace education into teaching and learning in secondary schools in 10 targeted countries in Africa. A descriptive research design, making use of a mixed methods approach of data collection was used to establish the extent to which peace education has been integrated into teaching and learning. This was also to enable the identification of any gaps and challenges in implementation processes and to share best practices in the integration of peace education in teaching and learning.
